The following may look to be a poem, to read or recite, but was actually created as lyrics for a song. Like most other scribblings of mine (some with melodies), this one never saw the light of day outside the notebook wherein it was written. And perhaps it's not even finished yet! But I hope it blesses you just the same!

A Love That Bled

A love that bled

A voice that cried

"Father forgive;

They just don't know."

But now we see

How great the cost

Redeeming Love

That set men free!

We love You Jesus

And praise Your name!

Bowing before You

Hearts set aflame!

Our lives we offer

No more the same

We love you Jesus

And praise your name!

The cross a bridge

From God to man

An empty grave

A risen King!

New life in Christ

Salvation's Gift

Our souls reborn

To dwell with Him!

We love You Jesus

And praise Your name!
